Athletic Director Mark Kelly Retires

After a 42-year career at St. Pius X High School, Atlanta, Mark Kelly retired at the end of 2017. Over his tenure at the school he served as a teacher, coach and the school’s athletic director since 1896. Before his departure he sat down for an interview with The Georgia Bulletin and the school hosted a retirement luncheon for him on Dec. 18, 2017.

    Mark Kelly is thankful to God and the “angels on earth in his life” that make his existence possible today. In 1974 he was one of 13 participants in an experimental cancer treatment program at Emory University.
